Len's early years were
spent as an Air Force brat. He was born in Illinois, moved to
Maine and then settled in Anchorage Alaska.
At the age of 14 Len made a personal decision to trust Jesus
Christ as his Lord and Savior. Sensing God's call to ministry at
age 15 he has been pursuing a lifestyle of service ever since.
This call drew Len to attend Western Bible College then pursue
his masters degree from Dallas Theological Seminary.
God's call took on a more specific direction for Len as he
became involved in church planting in Wasilla Alaska.
Len has had the privilege of being involved in church planting
from Alaska to Texas and now in Colorado. Coni and Len answered
God's call to start Elk Creek Community Church on Easter of
2000.
Len and Coni were married in 1989. They have five children
ranging in ages from 15 to 8.
Their oldest daughter, is looking forward to buying a truck,
while diligently working toward graduation from Platte Canyon
High School.
Their oldest son (13), loves building models and has the mind of
an engineer.
Their middle child is 11 and has a rabid love for baseball. He's
a great second baseman and his wall is constantly plastered with
the day's game stats.
Their 10 year old, is creative and full of energy. He can always
find something fun to do.
Their youngest is the one who loves riding her bike the most.
She is a dancing machine who loves to entertain.
As a family, the Billings' love to hike, camp, fish, ride bikes,
and do just about anything else outdoors. Len finds particular
enjoyment in a great game of racquetball.
